Education and memorization are synonyms, per the hallowed Indian school of thought
By-heart and come by tomorrow! Lest, you’ll mostly be ending up with nought

Everyone else did it, why couldn’t you? Classic counterargument
So much to say, yet the unwritten rule is to opt for silent treatment

Why am I like this? Can’t I just be normal for once? You pray in wonder
“You were created, my child, not manufactured; sui generis, unlike any other”

Nine periods a day, text books, note books, on feeble shoulders; a delicate spine
A pedagogy so primitive, rip it to shreds, let’s permit the victims a glimmer of a smile

Critical thinking, real-world problem solving, pursuing your passion; simply put asunder
Degrees, qualifications, fancy titles, do all these things really matter?

Don’t back-answer me! Get out of class. How dare you talk to me like that?
We have the herd mentality, are submissive and non-opinionated... the aftermath

Online learning platforms; are worth tens of billions of dollars
Shouldn’t we swap teachers, instead have entrepreneurs, bosses and managers?

A dollop of practicality, a pinch of planning and some fun to taste
Let’s see what can stop our system, from being one of the best

  1. Simple n on point.
We Indians take this concept of "playing it safe" way too much in every aspect of life.
Just do the degree, and then figure our what you wanna do in life. 'cause anycase you have a degree right.. So safe.
    Now deal with life.
    Anyways.. Good read bro.
Prashanth here btw, for some reason my profile is not getting logged in properly and shows unknown user always.

    1. Hehe, the glitch is fixed bruh. It's showing your name. Agreed completely with your thoughts on degrees. Such farcical concept. The mentality is completely flawed.

A full-fledged overhaul is the need of the hour.
